  • When is the market open?
    • The market is open year round on Saturdays from 9-1. We are also open Tuesday Nights from 4-7 pm from June through Sept where we will feature grab and go meals for busy families. Food trucks will serve up delicious food while our farmers sell local homegrown products. A time to come to market for those who can’t come on Saturdays!
  • Does the market and do vendors accept EBT/SNAP for payments?
    • Yes! You can swipe your EBT benefits card (also known as food stamps) with the market manager, who will exchange your benefits for $1 tokens that can be used to purchase items allowed under EBT requirements: non-prepared, non-heated foods.
  • Can I use my credit card at the market? 
    • Yes, many of our market vendors accept credit cards. You may still want to bring some extra cash with you, as some of our vendors do not have credit card machines and there is no ATM currently on site.
  • What items are for sale at the market?
    • There is a wide variety of products for sale at the market, including fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, eggs, honey, bread, baked goods, jams & jelly, maple, coffee, potted plants, cut flowers, herbs, spices, garden, beauty, jewelry, home supplies and more! It’s a place where talking to the farmer who grew it is a norm! Many organic and organically grown items available!
  • Is the market handicap accessible?
    • Yes – the market is located in a covered building with cement floors that make it easy for people with wheelchairs, crutches, etc. The market parking lot is also paved with handicap spots for ease of access on the ends. If you have questions about handicap access or need further accommodations, please feel free to contact the market manager before or during your visit.
  • Are dogs allowed at the market?
    • No – unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs at the market. Service dogs are welcome.
  • How can I sell my items at the market?  Interested vendors should please see the Vendor Info page for more information.
  • Help! I lost something at the market! What do I do?
    • No worries! Our market manager collects items that are found at the market and puts them in a lost and found. Please email aw738@cornell.edu or call (607) 584-5019 to see if we have your lost item!
  • Can a person or community group rent out the market for a wedding or other event?
    • Absolutely – our barn is a great place for weddings and community events! The market also has a commercial kitchen that can be rented for food production. Please contact the market manager for more information on how to reserve the space.
